Kimber Lynn Hall died as a result of septicemia pseudomonis myositis secondary to wounds received while at a night defensive position when the area came under mortar attack by a hostile force. He was admitted to a military medical facility and later expired. / At night defensive position, received mortar attack, hostile. Admitted to 24th Evacuation Hospital on 28 May 1971 at 2235 hrs, placed on Serious Injured (SI) list on 29 May 1971 at 0650 hrs, placed on Very Serious Injured (VSI) list on 3 Jun 1971 at 1630 hrs and later expired. Incident occurred on 28 May 1971 at 2100 hrs.
