Arthur Lee Jordan died from metal fragment wound received while in command post when hit by fragments from hostile mortar round. He was hospitalized at the 12th Evacuation Hospital, Cu Chi, and placed on the Very Seriously Injured (VSI) list on 29 Apr 1968 and later expired.
